Meet Julie

Julie Geyer, JGS Founder & Principal Designer

Julie founded Julie Geyer Studio to bring a deeper level of design to residential interiors. More than just her great taste and knack for merging elegance and warmth, she also brings to her clients’ projects her deep knowledge of art history, architecture, and global design. Since launching JGS, Julie has continued to garner a rapidly growing reputation for her chic, modern spaces characterized by artisanal elements, textural layers, unexpected touches, and glam-meets-organic details.

Before transitioning from her teaching career, Julie built her own home from the ground up, and experienced firsthand how overwhelming and confusing it can be to handle the many high-stakes decisions involved. Today, having received a design education at the New York Institute of Art & Design(NYIAD), Julie and her team solve this conundrum for clients throughout the Washington, DC area.
