Radiator Plants, Peperomia
These plants hold water in their stems so they only need to be watered sparingly and thrive in medium to low light settings, away from direct sun. Because of their drought tolerance, make sure the soil is completely dry before watering. These low maintenance plants grow all year long and can grow up to 6-12 inches tall. They are small and compact, perfect for an empty shelf or desk space and can even grow under fluorescent lighting.
Persian Violets, Cyclamen persicum

These unique plants are a great conversation starter as they require no soil to grow. Perfect in a terrarium or for styling on a coffee table, air plants are one of the lowest maintenance houseplants only needing indirect light and a half hour soak in the sink every ten days. Just make sure they dry upside down so they do not rot.
